March 2005 ~ Finally, we have the tank, side covers, and rear cowling freshly painted. The seat has been reupholstered. My Dream Chaser is coming along beautifully. The color is called Pearl Vintage Red, but it looks like a Black Cherry in the bright sun. On a less bright day it is hard to decide if it is black or red.
Here is a close up on the tank and you can make out the Black Cherry coloring. Our painter did a WONDERFUL job!!!! Painted by AJ's Customs 1826 West Broadway Road Suite # 39-40 Mesa, AZ 85202 480-835-7675 Just ask for J.C.
The lovely seat was upholstered by Urbina Upholstery 1826 W. Broadway Suite 30 Mesa, AZ 85202 480-964-1211 Just ask for Gabe
This is our original 1984 V65. Steve drives this one and it currently has over 42,000 miles on it. We have owned this bike since it was new and it is now 21 years old. I think it looks mighty good for an old bike. The name of this bike is "Sun Seeker"

I still have some cosmetic items that I would like to deal with. I would like to replace the left muffler and the chrome instrument cups. I also want to remove the oxidation from the lower front forks and that will be a bit of a job requiring some research so that I complete it correctly. Another thing that I want to do is replace or rechrome both wheels. That will depend on whether I can chrome only part of the wheel since I want to return to wheel to stock condition. There are a few other minor cosmetic items on my list, but all in due time as I locate parts. Many parts are no longer available from Honda so some require looking for used parts that are in good to excellent condition.

Our new truck just arrived this week!! It is our first new truck in ten years. The old truck has 215,000 miles on it and still going strong. We kept it so that I would have my own wheels during the day (4 wheels that is). We love those Toyotas!!!

Finally got the sun to cooperate to show off the color. Some call this a deep burgundy, but it actually resembles a black cherry in color. The painter did an awesome job matching the original color.
