Mosby's Diagnostic and Laboratory Test Reference sixth edition by Pagana and Pagana.  ISBN 0323020496,  $37.95 plus s/h via Amazon.com.  This one is worth the price and very helpful in understanding your various lab tests.

WLS SPECIFI
C

Reach for the Star
s By Sharon Neva (this is "A Guided Journal for your Weight Loss Surgery") ISBN 0976408805.  I am impressed with this book and it is one that I would recommend if you are looking for a gift for a new WLS person.  The book contains writing area for the new surgical candidate to record their journey and discovery process as a pre-op and post-op with a focus on helping the surgical candidate to make an informed decision.  It will be on my list for anyone that I am doing "Angel" duties for.  You can find the book via an author search at: ABE.com.

Gut Fee
