The Butterfly is the symbol of the rebirth for a morbidly obese person. We emerge from our cocoon and enter the world as a beautiful butterfly ready to fly and explore all that the world has to offer us.
Pictured above is a special card that I made to accompany me to the hospital on December 8 for my RNY surgery procedure. I wanted something to take with me to symbolize the journey that I have ahead of me and to symbolize my faith that God does indeed have a guardian angel protecting me for this journey of mine. |
