Rider at 4 months
The whole gang actually sat still for this.  Next year we hope to have less leashes in the photo.
The truly amazing part of these photos is I am trotting in the first photo and preparing to in the second.  This is something I have not done in 30 plus years.  I guess you can teach an old body new tricks!!  Anyway, the photos are here to show Rider going away and coming back for those who are interested in such things.  I was not trying for perfect form for myself as the goal today was to get some stacking photos only.
Rider doing a Sit Stay so that we could try for a nice shot of him.   He is 6 1/2 months old now, weighs 40 3/4 pounds, and is between 18 1/4 - 18 1/2 inches tall at the shoulder.  Our baby boy is growing up.
Rider and I have been taking conformation classes and we are both learning.  Rider is faster at catching on than I am.  It is helpful to have a lovely dog to work with and I am so thrilled that Ellen allowed Rider to come to Arizona and live with us.  We have our first show in mid-January and are hopeful to not make fools of ourselves in the ring.  Actually, I am hopeful that I don't embarrass Rider, he will do just fine.
